The Iconic Surf Show & Shine is back.

Dust off your Kombi, wax up your boards and bring the whole family along for a laid-back day celebrating surf culture, classic vehicles and community fun.

Hosted by Rotary Alexandra Headland, the Surf Show & Shine rolls into Mooloolaba State School on Sunday 25 January 2026, from 8am to 4pm, and it’s shaping up to be a ripper Family Day.

Expect a colourful lineup of Kombis (VW Beetles welcome), vintage surfboards, live music, art displays and plenty of surf-inspired merchandise. There’s something for everyone, with a kids’ play area, great street food, a giant raffle, lucky door prizes and the ever-popular People’s Choice Kombi award.

The weekend vibes kick off with a Saturday night Kombi parade, followed by the main Show & Shine action on Sunday — relaxed, retro and full of soul.

Whether you’re entering a vehicle or just coming along to soak it all up, this is one summer event you won’t want to miss.
